What if my computer doesn't start?

• Start your computer in DOS mode.

Google has updated its index today for the month of January. It's call "Google Dance". You see different results on www1.google.com and www2.google.com during this process of few hours. I am happy that my site does not show up when you search for "advance unix commands". As I have removed those pages.

When using IE's Links bar, it soon becomes apparent that space is an issue. Adding just a few links to the toolbar will quickly use up all of the on-screen space. Add a folder to your links toolbar to organize your bookmarks and increase the usable space of the toolbar. Any links placed within a folder on the toolbar will appear in a dropdown menu when the folder is clicked on. Giving the new folder a descriptive name will aid you in keeping your links organized.
To add a new folder to your Links/Personal Toolbar:

1. Go to Favorites.
2. Click Organize Favorites.
3. Click on the Links folder.
4. Add new folders to the Links toolbar by clicking on the Create Folder button.
5. Drag and drop your links or other folders into the new folder to have them appear on the Links toolbar.

When you update information on your site it does not automatically update instantly in Google's index. Rather, Google's index is updated approximately once a month.
It's surprising that it takes them a whole month to update the links in the directory! I was not expecting this from a company like Google.

1. I'm having an issue with caching - I have corrected a problem on my site but it doesn't appear to have been corrected within Google. How often do you guys update? it's been fixed for nearly 3 weeks now...

Simply "not expectable". I will like to see the latest information instead of browsing through the Google Cache. I have updated my website around 15 days back and even today if I type shantanu oak in the Google search, I am getting the cached pages from my old site!

I wanted to install the Yahoo Mail, so that I can click on any e-mail address on any webpage and Yahoo's Compose window will activate.
I typed "Install Yahoo mail" in the Google Search Box. And the first site took me directly to the relevant webpage. Now all I had to do is click on continue and install the required Yahoo Mail driver!

My website www.shantanuoak.com is not working at the moment. The hosting company has cancelled the account for non-payment of monthly hosting fees. I have activated a new account and everything will be OK by tomorrow. And Yes, I have changed the design to make my life easier while updating the site.
